Studio the Netherlands
Despite my travel drive, the Netherlands is a place to come back to, not in the least because my family lives here and I know the culture and I speak language.
In the Netherlands I live in Breda, a city where it is nice to stay. There are many places of interest and you can go shopping and go out in the pleasant inner city. Consider, for example, the Chasse Theater, Holland Casino, The Graphic Museum and the Biesbosch. The fact that my largest studio, the “mother” of my studios in Italy and Tanzania, is located in Breda, is partly because the city is very centrally located. Antwerp, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Cologne and Paris are at driving distance.
Studio
It is designed in such a way that there is a separate workplace for each technique. This delightful, uncluttered place gives me rest and encourages me to experiment, to work, to receive friends and sometimes just to do nothing. Here the artworks are varnished, possibly framed and photographed by Studio EVS. It is a bustle at times. From this studio my art is sent to the galleries in the Netherlands and abroad and the clients.
